Background

About Thomas Blanchet

Research engineer with a PhD since 2019 on optics, photonics and radiations. During my laboratory work, I have developed a scientific method with the reading of publication, the development of experimental setups, the extraction of the useful information from the experiments and the result publication in international reviews. My researches were focus on- The optical fibers and their applications as sensors: for example, temperature and/or strain sensors - The evaluation of the ability of these sensors to resist to high temperature, strain or under radiations To perform all these experiments, I have work on- Optical benches with lasers (continuum, pulsed or femtosecond)- The test of Optical fibers sensors under high temperature and/or strain - The developments of devices for the insertion of optical fiber sensors inside radiative environments with an online recording of the sensor data- The analysis of raw data into workable data with the development of algorithms - Redaction of reports and scientific publications for international reviews and presentation of my work at national and international conferences.
