Executive with +15 years of experience from financial and Fintech sector working in various roles as developer, subject matter expert, architect, and more recently manager. Currently Head of Middleware & Data Platforms in NETS Group Technology managing architecture, engineering and operations for 3 service domains- Middleware (application hosting, certificate management, enterprise messaging, monitoring, logging and search)- Databases (relational and NoSQL)- Big Data (distributed storage and processing based upon Hadoop ecosystem, data integration, real time processing) Much time is spent aligning with stakeholders, evaluate strategy and budgets and negotiate with vendors etc. but I enjoy and take pride in the technical dialogue with the experts whom I manage and lead as well as those with whom we closely collaborate. In the past I implemented enterprise database platforms as well as introduced a Big Data platform based upon Hadoop, implemented statistical modelling and forecasting prior to AI being included in every LinkedIn summary and worked as DevOps (due to resource constraints) before it was coined. I graduated years ago from Copenhagen Business School (law and economics) and University of Copenhagen (computer science and math), thus having both commercial and technical knowledge. Still to this day I spend 4 weeks every summer re-reading some of my old university books; math seems getting harder every year.
