About Thomas Bouillon

Climate change is the defining challenge of our time — and the reason I do what I do. I'm driven by a deep conviction that addressing the climate crisis requires systemic thinking. At the intersection of science, industry, and policy, I’m committed to building meaningful solutions for a low-carbon, resilient future. I currently work as a Founder's Associate at ARK Capture Solutions, a climate tech startup developing CO₂ capture technologies for industrial flue gases. I support the founders across all strategic, financial, and business development aspects, helping shape the company’s trajectory in a fast-moving and high-impact sector. My areas of expertise include: Carbon pricing mechanisms (EU ETS, CBAM) CO₂ capture (CCUS) and industrial decarbonization Battery recycling and circular economy Climate change education, from scientific foundations to systemic insights In parallel to ARK, I contribute to academic efforts in sustainability as a scientific assistant at the Solvay Brussels School, where I support the sustainable development department.
