About Thomas Breckel

As a Veteran, I have had the opportunity to travel the world and witness first-hand amazing examples of humanity, see the ravages of war, feel the desperation after disaster, and experience the jubilation of hope from a helping hand. Forged from these experiences are my core skillsets as a planner, responder, and agile leader. These skills have served me well over my military service and resulted in 12 personal decorations for excellence and 38 citations for performance. However, work is only a fraction of what makes up the person. For me, it is giving something back to the community. Be it as a Scouting leader or a member of a local search and rescue team, helping others is an important part of personal accomplishment. And when it comes to “me time,” I enjoy collecting rare single malt scotch whisky, hiking, mountaineering, and travel. As I transition from a military life, I'm excited about the possibilities before me of what “could be” and how I can leverage “who I was” to continue my growth of who I am.
