About Thomas Britland

I have worked as a Human Factors Engineer for three years now as both a consultant and in house professional ultimately gaining experience in Human Factors methods, processes, values and project management. As a HF Engineer I take great pride in ensuring that all aspects relating to human interaction with systems and physical products are taken into consideration during all stages of the design and ultimately improving people’s lives through design. I always strive to bring energy and commitment to the work I do and my goal is to further the growth and show the value of Human Factors as profession. Currently responsible for providing Human Factors expertise to two London Underground projects on the Four Lines Modernisation project which will increase the capacity on the Circle, District, Hammersmith and City and Metropolitan lines, and the Northern Line Extension which will deliver new services to Nine Elms and Battersea. My Capabilities include, Ergonomic Evaluation, Human Error Assessments, Usability Assessment, System Design, Systems Integration, Alarms Design and analysis, Project Management, User Research and much more.
