About Thomas Brownfield
Thomas E. Brownfield Jr. is the creator of Healthcare Safety & Violence Prevention. Recognizing current limitations in the pedagogy of this education he resolved to improve the delivery with a top-shelf evidence-based program. Mr. Brownfield oversees direct patient care, infection control measures, staff education, safe medication administration, staffing schedules, coordination of care, resource management, and allocation of government funds. Mr. Brownfield has recently been awarded two Meritorious Service Medals. One for contributions made while serving at Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston. The other was for his support during two deployments while serving in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also received the Commissioned Grade Officer of the Quarter Award for his global efforts in patient and staff safety. Mr. Brownfield earned a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University. He is Board-Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
