About Thomas Bruton

From Colorado, I am an avid outdoorsman. My last few years have been spent in the military, with the opportunity to explore from the waterfalls of Upstate New York to the rolling hills of Missouri. As a transitioning Army engineering officer, I am excited to embark on the next chapter of my professional journey. My military experience has equipped me with the skills to lead cross-functional teams through complex and dynamic projects. I have conducted in-depth analyses of stress and strain in bridging systems and successfully managed the construction of roads and airfields. Additionally, I have reengineered organizational processes to optimize efficiency. Most recently, I was given the opportunity to serve as an engineering instructor which has allowed me to develop future Army engineering officers and foster leadership within the field. Concurrently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering to advance my technical expertise. I am passionate about learning and discovering and desire to integrate my skillset into research and development careers. I am actively seeking opportunities in the mechanical and materials engineering fields. I am eager to apply my skills and experience to drive innovation and contribute to impactful projects.
