About Thomas Busmann

A registered professional chemical engineer with more than 30 years of experience serving numerous clients with regulatory analysis, compliance demonstration and technology implementation. Primary responsibility is to support clients’ efforts to develop solutions compliant with the myriad of applicable regulations while maintaining successful and flexible operation. I started my career providing environmental compliance services building a successful track record assisting pharmaceutical clients in achieving environmental regulatory compliance. After the founding of Focus Compliance and Validation Services, a division of Focus Environmental Inc, my services now include FDA quality systems and validation services for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, contract packaging, source blood plasma products, and medical device clients. Specific areas of environmental expertise include combustion and gas cleaning systems. Additionally, I provide verification of process control systems, validations for computer software and networks, processes, utilities, and equipment. I have provided hazard and safety analysis, produced and delivered web-based and corporate training on validation, procedures, and process operations, and am versed in quality systems, risk management, and risk analysis.
