I am broadly interested in quantum mechanical aspects of condensed matter systems in the area of strongly correlated systems. My research focuses on the deepening of our understanding of the interplay of strongly coupled (electronic) degrees of freedom with the help of numerically exact algorithms and support by analytical approaches. My research interests concentrate on critical phenomena and unconventional quantum phase transitions, exotic phases, topological phenomena and the development of new computational tools and methods.
