About Thomas Clegg

My name is Tom and I work at Bandcamp, a place where people who love music can directly support the people who make it. Lately I’ve been channeling my inner Monty Don and trying my hand at gardening, playing lots of Zelda and hanging out with the newest addition to my family, Henry. A little about me: I got my Masters degree in Digital Media Management at Hyper Island, a surreal experience which taught me the value of feedback, human-centred design and how karaoke is the universal language of peace. I’m not one to spend days obsessing over the naming in my Figma file. I’d much rather work in the open and share work little and often to gather as much feedback and input as possible so we can get a prototype in front of the people that matter (be that core audiences or stakeholders) and get things moving. At Bandcamp I’m one of two Design Directors, I look after the fans & visitors side of our marketplace.
