About Thomas Cogan

Thomas Cogan is a Civil / Design Engineer with roughly 10 years experience working in the civil engineering industry. Thomas brings experience in project coordination, engineering design, construction supervision, and contract administration for civil development projects of varying size, budget, and scope. Currently, Thomas is working on several masterplan subdivisions across Vancouver, as well as residential projects across the Lower Mainland. With a background in urban development projects, road infrastructure, sewer and water networks, and project management, Thomas is equipped with the critical knowledge and technical skills to successfully deliver quality designs for projects through all phases. From conception through to development and commissioning, Thomas establishes relationships with service providers, contractors, and stakeholders, and effectively coordinates with clients to meet their needs. Thomas’ recent work includes producing civil designs for land development projects, creating design reports, conducting stormwater analysis, coordinating design issues with other consultants, and assisting other project managers in tasks necessary to complete projects. Thomas has recently been involved on a number of major projects in the lower mainland including St. Paul’s Hospital Redevelopment, Brentwood Masterplan Development for Aoyuan International, Bainbridge Masterplan Development for Create Urban, and Gilmore Masterplan Development for Onni Group. Thomas was a key member of the consultant team which finalized and published the St. Paul’s Hospital Redevelopment Technical Specifications and Statement of Requirements in September 2019. Thomas is an enthusiastic, outgoing and highly motivated young individual who is continually looking to further his professional skill set that has been developed through the roles and responsibilities associated with being a Professional Engineer.
