As a corporate finance professional, I bring extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, spanning activities from month-end close procedures all the way up to the highest-level board reporting. My approach is rooted in precise measurement, accurate reporting of financial results, and ongoing enhancement of systems and processes to optimize performance. Throughout my career, I have made significant contributions across various aspects of financial planning and analysis. My background covers a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including preparing general ledger entries, conducting account reconciliations, developing budgets and forecasts, monthly variance analysis with vested constituents, implementing and administering advanced financial management systems and models, and producing as well as presenting detailed financial reports to senior management. I really enjoy the challenge of financial reporting. I like designing efficient and visually appealing schedules that effectively highlight key outcomes with minimal need for explanation. Most of my career has been dedicated to Asset Liability Management (ALM) within the financial services sector. In this capacity, I have overseen systems for assessing financial risk and product profitability, as well as reporting findings to the board of directors and federal regulators. The ALM discipline is highly specialized and subject to rigorous oversight; however, my knowledge and experience extends beyond this niche. The competencies required for successful ALM administration in banking are fully transferable to any corporate FP & A environment where they can be leveraged to have an immediate and positive impact on financial results.
