About Thomas Costabile

Thomas Costabile currently serves as a Construction Manager & Superintendent for Skanska. For the first two years of his career, he participated in Skanska’s Core Competency Training Program. The program spanned a period of two years, where newer engineers learn six core areas of the construction business, gaining experience in both the field and the main office. Mr. Costabile has worked several projects for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection as well as New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority. From July 2013 to July 2017 he had been working on the Clean Rivers Project for D.C. Water in Washington, D.C. His duties have included quality control, field engineering, crew management, and supervision for activities directly related to the construction of two separate large diameter segmental concrete lined tunnels (Blue Plains Tunnel, and First Street Tunnel). Thomas temporarily transitioned to a superintendent for Skanska USA Building at their 99M Street - Ballpark Square and 22M Resa projects before returning to heavy civil projects. Thomas had a critical role as a superintendent on the Harry Nice Bridge project in Newburg, MD from preconstruction through substantial completion. Most recently, Thomas has been a part of two projects in Baltimore, MD as an interim superintendent on the Baltimore Penn-Station project and as construction manager on the Howard Street Tunnel progressive design-build project.
