About Thomas Cox
I qualified with distinction in Veterinary Science in 2012 before practicing within a predominantly small animal practice in North Wales for two years. I then completed a rotating internship and orthopaedics internship before completing a ECVS residency in Small Animal Surgery at the University of Liverpool. In February 2022 I passed my ECVS board examinations and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons. I now work as a RCVS and European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery and my current role is Head of Small Animal Orthopaedics at the University of Liverpool Small Animal Teaching Hospital. My main interests are specialist orthopaedic surgery and neurosurgery.
