Engineer with a diverse background that includes 30+ years of experience in Outdoor Softgoods and Hardgoods, Aerospace, Environmental/Sustainability. My current interests and passions are for Domestic manufacturing, Sustainability and Direct to Consumer mass customized manufacturing. Let me help you build a Manufacturing 4.0 Circular factory designed to be environmentally benign or restorative (principles of Industrial Ecology) My diverse manufacturing background has developed strong skillsets in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Quality Assurance and Contract Manufacturing in Asia and the US. Project management and data analysis are among my core skillsets and I pride myself on my adaptability and willingness to learn new processes, tools and techniques. I have direct manufacturing experience with the following processes: shoe assembly, thermoforming, RF welding, hot air & impulse welding of textiles, injection molding, composite molding, compression molding of rubber & eva, screenprinting, machining and misc. assembly of riveted and welded metal assemblies. I have CAD experience in Solidworks, SpaceClaim, Rhino, CADKEY, AutoCAD and other software. Strong experience with Statistical tools like JMP, Minitab and QI Macros. My current favorite tool is the Apollo Root Cause Analysis method.
