About Thomas Cura

I am a third-year student at the University of Central Florida pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. I am committed to obtaining a Master's in Accounting and obtaining CPA certification to be completed August 2026. During my time as an on-site audit intern at Greene, Dycus & Co, P.A, I gained valuable experience using conducting basic audit procedures. I utilized Excel, conducted analytical reviews, confirmed supporting documentation, and overall honed in my skills and deepened passion for accounting. Beyond the classroom, I have gained lifetime membership as a member of the honorary accounting organization Beta Alpha Psi. I have succeeded as a Retail Associate at Fit2Run, improving customer service and attention-to-detail skills, as well as becoming number one seller for premium products in the first two months of opening and employment at the store. Additionally, I have thrived as a Youth Sailing Instructor, sharing the art of sailing and instilling leadership qualities in young minds. As a former Student Body Senator, I have demonstrated my dedication to leadership and teamwork.
