About Thomas Davidson

Thomas is an aspirant and driven young professional with strong creative vision and a demonstrable ability to communicate effectively and produce excellent outcomes. Based on a proven track record of persuasive and engaging copywriting for a wide range of audiences in the public, private and third sectors, he is now pursuing the opportunity to launch a dedicated career in copywriting and digital journalism. He currently works for the British Government, working closely with colleagues and various stakeholder groups to research and develop national policy; providing comms and briefing work around these projects. Other specialisations include research, public communications and business development. Thomas has developed his professional skillset and approach over the past five years. Since graduating from Plymouth University with a degree in Geography, he has lead a successful Students' Union Sabbatical Team and taught English as a foreign language in South Korea before moving into the public sector as a Business Development Manager and, more recently, a freelance copywriter.
