About Thomas Davis

With over 20 years in military aviation and automotive manufacturing, I’ve passionately developed numerous individuals to their fullest potential, including eight soldiers who’ve become non-commissioned officers (NCO) and military aviation leaders. As a motivational team builder, I’ve learned that empowerment, inclusion, and trust are vital to creating an energetic and vibrant environment as well as successful, fully-engaged teams. Thriving at Kent State as I earned my Master’s in Technology (Focus: Project Management) and Bachelor’s in Aeronautics (Minor: Sustainability), my leadership expertise was repeatedly recognized as I was often called upon – even as an undergraduate – to conduct classes during the professors’ absences. I also served as Student Mentor, co-founder of the KSU High-Power Rocket Club, Student Liaison to the Aeronautics Advisory Board, and more. I recently obtained Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and continually strive to enhance my skill set through developmental certifications, continuing education, and emerging technologies research. I’ve received frequent praise for my extraordinarily meticulous and focused approach to project management, problem solving, risk assessment, 5S, and continuous improvement - an approach driven by my zeal to deliver complete customer satisfaction through unrivaled product completion. In essence, I want to “Wow” the customer. Therefore, I’ve learned to quickly adapt to changing demands and priorities without sacrificing quality or timeliness.
