About Thomas de Witte

As a short-track speed skater I could focus my energy during my challenging teenage years. It gave me the goals and focus I needed to successfully complete my technical education at school. After my school period I have been speed skating professionally for 1,5 years before deciding to focus on shaping my future. I took a break of a year in which I did a professional yachtmaster sailing course in Cowes (UK) from which I can benefit now during my free time to enjoy the seas. In my search to a career with many different aspects, technical content and on a management level, I chose to to a Bachelor degree in Facility Management. A following Master program was a logical choice for me to bring me on the right strategic level. By being a consultant and immersed from the beginning of my career in many different companies I have gained a lot of exciting experience in a short time. Gaining fast profound insight and delivering results with durable impact was always my objective. Structurally improving processes, organisations and costs in many large companies was a great experience. Over the years I felt the entrepreneur waking up in me and decided to make the jump in 2015 to start my first business. Together with my business partner Koenraad Boel we founded IN2-CONCRETE and builded together on this great project step by step. Betotrace, an innovative ordering platform for the concrete industry, is a spin-off from IN2-CONCRETE and a super exciting challenge for me. It brings together all aspects of a very interesting concrete sector, great entrepreneurship and building this project with a great team.
