About Thomas Dignum

I have a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Calgary where I also studied Physics as well as completing coursework in applied energy economics, data, computer science, calculus, algebra, and statistics. My strengths relate to my gaming background and grasp of mathematical concepts. I am also an avid reader and have been identified to have above average reading comprehension abilities which allow me to follow written directions effectively and efficiently. Although I am an introvert, I am an effective communicator and reliable team member. I work well under pressure and enjoy solving complex problems. My previous work experience is not in my field of education but has provided me with useful skills. I have worked at a vet clinic, a garden centre and for the PNE. These jobs allowed me to develop customer service skills and demonstrate my work ethic and reliability. I was a competitive swimmer throughout my schooling and continue to swim and work out consistently - I enjoy the discipline of physical exercise. I am hopeful to obtain work in the Vancouver vicinity and am open to remote or hybrid employment.
