I worked a variety of jobs and I have a wealth of interests. I was a small business owner of two movie theaters in rural Iowa. I managed a corporate retail bookstore called Doubleday Book Shops which was bought out by Barnes and Noble, Inc. And I was the Membership and Marketing Director at nonprofit New England Historical Genealogical Society. I even taught public speaking in a non-profit environment - Le Cordon Bleu Culinary College. For more than 15 years I have taught as a Communication Studies professor in both part time and full time positions. I teach at Fisher College, Emerson College, and Northeastern University in Boston. In my future I will incorporate education and other background in a for profit environment. I am actively seeking full time employment in the Boston area. Specialties: Competent in Microsoft Office, course management software (Blackboard), and website development software (DreamWeaver). I have a passions for film, nonfiction writing, Broadway, biking, and many more which escape me now.
