About Thomas Dubay

Hello! I'm Thomas, but feel free to call me Tommy. I'm a recent graduate from Clarkson University with degrees in both Computer Science and Digital Arts & Sciences, along with a minor in Mathematics. I was part of Clarkson's honors program, and was an 8-semester presidential scholar. If you have worked with me in the past, you would know that I always bring my all whenever I'm needed, but if I were to choose my top three stand-out qualities that I bring to the table, they would be: ⇨ PROJECT DEVELOPMENT Creating things is a driving force in my life and motivates me to pursue jobs such as software development and art. Over the course of the past two summers, I held an undergraduate research position with an organization on-campus, which involved working in teams on multiple computer-vision and human-robot interaction related projects. My senior capstone for digital arts and sciences and the honors program also involved creating a multimedia project that incorporated primarily animation and music production to create a group of virtual musicians. ⇨ DESIGN EXPERIENCE Making sure that what I create is visually appealing is a high priority, and I have the experience to make it possible. Via coursework at Clarkson, I have experience with User Experience Design, and an understanding on the many facets of Human-Computer Interaction. Designing narratives and characters is also very compelling, and I have been doing that for personal projects since I was young, and also have had coursework to bolster those skills. ⇨ HARD-WORKING Outside of the summers that I spent doing research, I also spent many summers working retail at a local pool store in my hometown. I also worked as a tutor for multiple chemistry and computer science courses during my college semesters.
