I pursued a degree in International Business because I have always had a fascination with different cultures. I specifically became interested in global logistics and supply chain management because it deals with people as well as data, with the opportunity to solve some tangible problems and issues. I have been to 30 countries, and I have stories from each one that tie directly to how I live my life. Go outside, risk being uncomfortable, and be a part of the global population. I have plans to step foot in every country in the world, even the dangerous ones! I know that my international exposure is valuable in the business world. I like to solve problems that involve both people and processes because of my ability to connect with others the world over. A well-managed logistics and supply chain function can have an enormous impact on a company and I deliver efficiency through excellent communication. I have been told that I am a natural leader who connects well with people. As an Eagle Scout, I have always been able to engage people, find creative solutions, and get things done.
