About Thomas Eynatten

Classical culture and languages (Greek-Latin) graduate broadening his perspective towards contemporary issues on applied culture and languages. Enrolling in topics such as multilingualism, language policy, multidiversity and multiculturalism, whilst thinking on a both academical and theoretical base as well as a pragmatical and functional base to gain expertise in the matter and to engage in future careers where I hope to apply my knowledge for the use of working together and find connections between us all. I have a special interest in intellectual history (such as the history of thinking on politics, society and philosophy) and the history of intercultural contacts (such as the emergence and decline of historical empires and realms, and its consequences on cultural-linguistic, intellectual, political and ethical domains). Further interests reach out to poststructural and cognitive fields in philosophy, economics and politics (id est: can we know and comprehend the structures that make up our societal lives in various domains, or do they not exist and were they deliberately placed upon mankind in order to organise and manage ourselves more efficiently). Striving to find answers to the never to be answered questions on ‘meaning’ in our society. In the meantime a Field Hockey fanatic, spending my time on and off the pitch, trying to expand and share my knowledge and feed my curiousity.
