About Thomas Finkel

I work as freelance strategy and management consultant and am partner and managing director at Como Consult in Hamburg, providing process oriented consulting services to clients in the public and private sector. With over 20 years of work experience at managerial, team leadership, project management and consulting level, my main background is in private sector development issues in the framework of international cooperation projects. Here I help clients elaborate their project strategies especially regarding strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises including small holder farmers. My recent emphasis is on green growth and climate change topics within value chain development, having regional experience in South East Asia (4 years in Vietnam), Latin America (4 years in Argentina), Africa, Central Asia and Europe.
