About Thomas Fuller

Dr. Thomas P. Fuller is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional with over 42 years of experience in occupational safety, radiation protection, infection control, industrial hygiene, and public health. He has experience in healthcare, nuclear power plants, municipalities, biopharmaceutical labs, manufacturing, and universities. Dr. Fuller has demonstrated teaching qualification and experience at several universities, and has experience speaking nationally and internationally. Dr. Fuller a Past Chair of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) International Affairs Committee (IAC) and the AIHA Ambassador to France. He is the Chair of the IAC Emerging Economy Microgrant Subcommittee. He is the AIHA representative to, and the Past President of the International Occupational Hygiene Association. Dr. Fuller is also a member of Workplace Health Without Borders (WHWB) and the International Commission on Occupational Health. He is also past Chair of the AIHA Nonionizing Radiation Committee. He is also a member of the Health Care Working Group, and an original member of the AIHA Pandemic Planning Team. He is a Contributing Editor for the American Journal of Nursing, and is on the Editorial Advisory Committee of the National Safety Council and the journal Occupational Health Southern Africa. Dr. Fuller a past President of the Board of Directors of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health. He is currently Professor at the Occupational Safety and Health Program of the Illinois State University Health Sciences Department.
