Communication, process definition and change management, that are from my professional experience the cornerstones for a successful business.Communication is for me, making the people understand each other. This is absolutely crucial and although everybody is of course communicating, even the closest colleagues often do not really understand each other. During my years as technical consultant, quality manager and project manager I learned that communication is more then just saying something.Process definition is equally important, because you cannot make business without having your processes defined and by that under control. I made the experience that even in long lasting businesses it is tough to get the underlying processes defined by involved parties. Once ensured, that everyone is on the same page because they finally speak the same language and share the same process pictures, the change management is the final key to bring the business forward. I have seen several (very good) solutions, which never took effect because of failed change management.In my daily routine as project and product manager I work hard to establish and strengthen these cornerstones to make successful business.
