I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse career path that began in the NICU, where I spent 5 years providing specialized care for critically ill newborns. My experience in this high-pressure environment honed my ability to deliver compassionate and effective care while working closely with multidisciplinary teams. After my time in the NICU, I transitioned to the insurance sector, where I worked for 4,5 years. This shift allowed me to gain valuable insight into healthcare-related insurance and sharpen my communication and problem-solving skills as a medical underwriter. While I appreciated the corporate setting, I realized that I missed the direct, human connection that nursing provides. This led me to return to my roots, and I am currently working as a nurse for IDEWE, where I can engage with clients on a more personal level, delivering tailored care and support to meet their healthcare needs. Driven by a desire to deepen my understanding of mental health and enhance my ability to support individuals, I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). This academic pursuit is going well and complements my professional experience, allowing me to approach client care with a deeper psychological perspective.
