About Thomas Grana
Starting with GoPro when they were a small, privately owned surf company was a significant building block for my personal career. I accepted a position with GoPro Technical Customer Support in 2012 which provided the backbone of product knowledge and brand expertise that fostered many future endeavors. My ability to communicate passionately and credibly to all walks of life helped define how I hold myself professionally and how I represented GoPro. I was recognized as a spirited team player invested in the consumers use of the product. This led me to take on more projects and responsibilities like managing like the ‘Everything We Make daily giveaway’ and becoming a technical product expert for the video editing software, GoPro Studio. After a few years cultivating my foundation within support, I accepted a position with the Specialty Sales team supporting the vast network of retailers across the nation that sold our product and proliferated the message of GoPro. Order management, client relationships and crisp, diligent communication was the key to supporting our coveted retailers. As a sales team member it was beneficial sitting in proximity to our internal Training and Education team. This overlap enabled collaboration and eventually landed me a position on the Training and Education team. It was on this team that I was able to champion more operation based procedures like inventory, forecasting product against budget, and team logistics, all while allowing my wide range of related skills and long-standing brand credibility flourish. Unfortunately I was affected by layoffs related to the Karma Drone. I made the decision to pursue the love of my life in Florida. We started our family and I spent a few years working at a local startup and eventually, the PGA Tour. These allowed me to exercise the range of my technical skills. With the birth of our daughter, we decided to relocate back to the Bay Area to be close to family and to allow me to dive back into the local workforce. COVID-19 threw a wrench in our conventional plans and enabled the opportunity of self employment. The projects became more frequent and the business became more legitimate. I am now the owner/founder of Full Circle Streaming and Digital LLC. Outside of work you can find me walking and bicycling with my wife and daughter. We love cooking and listening to music. I love escaping to the mountains to ski and occasionally find myself wing-suiting with my skydiving friends.
