Hasty, has been promoted to senior executive vice president and Risk Management Committee chairman. Hasty is a graduate of Hampton Institute (Hampton University) and attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. He is active in the community, serving on the boards of the Urban League of Hampton Roads and Chesapeake Bay Academy. In 2011, Hasty was reappointed by Governor McDonnell to the Board of Directors of the Virginia Resources Authority. He is the former board chair of the United Way of South Hampton Roads and served on the boards for the Bon Secours DePaul Hospital Foundation and the Hampton Roads Community Development Corporation.
