Highly experienced leader with over 20 years management experience across multiple roles. Most recently, led and integrated Mozy into Carbonite following its $146M acquisition from Dell EMC. Currently available and looking forward to the next opportunity. Areas of expertise – Sales, Sales Operation and Planning, Customer Success, Program Management. I attribute my success over the last 20 years to some key leadership principles and traits that were developed early in my career at Virgin which I subsequently applied and honed over time. In my experience, success is predicated by the leaders who create a culture and environment for their people to excel. Here are my key principles, Start with the end in mind, you cannot and will not succeed if you don’t first understand what it is you are trying to achieve. Build a collective understanding of this goal / vision with your team; work through the “who, what, why, when” of the goal and the “how” will evolve. Lead by example, demonstrate the standards expected and make sure they are balanced. A leader motivates, rewards, supports and challenges their people in equal measure. When leaders create the right environment for their people, they will go on to achieve extraordinary things together. I am very proud and privileged to have led many teams in my career to date, there are two particular teams that stand out based on what was accomplished and achieved together. It was a privilege to lead the team that built Virgin Direct's first online service portal in We created an innovative online service portal that enabled Virgin's customers to manage all of their financial transactions in one place across their banking, credit cards, pension, investment products, it involved managing many key stakeholders across the Virgin group, Royal Bank of Scotland and Norwich Union. It was also a huge privilege to lead the cross functional Carbonite/Mozy team post acquisition. We migrated >95% of the Mozy customer install base onto the Carbonite product platform and beat our internal profitability targets by 27% in 2019. I am excited and look forward to my next leadership challenge.
