About Thomas Hedges

Currently developing a career in software testing and process QA, with a focus on test management and delivery. Although I have only been in the industry for two years, I have already developed my practical testing and test management skills, leading multiple deliveries under a continuous release model, contributing to and managing the test strategy for a dedicated test team, including both manual and automated test suites. I am currently in the process of delivering large-scale test process changes in my position, aiming to increase our usage of automation testing, both functionally and for visual testing, as well as allowing us to further shift testing left by deploying a continous integration model of testing in tandem with development. I'm friendly and always keen to work with others to reach a final goal for a project, as well as fostering relationship and channels of communication, which is becoming increasingly important in an agile development world. I have practical experience using a variety of both proprietary and industry standard tools, as well as experience testing web front end, back end (REST APIs) and device testing, with a focus on quality and accessibility
