The best part of my job is mentoring future leaders of tomorrow. I’m in the business of managing people. My people take care of the business. I’ve promoted several associates to hourly supervisory roles. Many of whom have gone on to salary management roles. At my current employer, our teamwork and adaptability has paid off tremendously. This resulted in Market Club of the Year Honors being distributed in 2018 & 2020. This award is given to the top performing store of the 12 stores within the market in various key metrics throughout the fiscal year. As for me? I’m an experienced assistant manager with a demonstrated history of working in the retail industry. I’m best known for my visual merchandising amongst my coworkers. I’m a strong professional with an Associate's degree focused on Business from Henry Ford College. My personal and professional experiences have taught me the following about myself: I can successfully manage a wholesale retail box from $75M to $170M in revenue.* I put my associates & customers at the center of all that I do.* I excel at the execution of big plans with strict deadlines. I can align, lead, and develop teams of 5 to 50 people.* I love to win, but helping the team win gives me greater joy.* I share both positive and negative feedback as necessary to allow for career growth.
