Senior Mining Engineer | Executive | Academic | Entrepreneur I am a seasoned Mining Engineer with over three decades of international experience across the mining sector, encompassing operational leadership, consulting, tendering, and contracting. For more than 15 years, I held the position of Division Manager at a globally operating mining contractor before establishing and managing my own enterprises in mining contracting and consultancy. In parallel with my professional career, I have been actively engaged in higher education. I served as Professor and Director of Mining at the Namibia University of Science and Technology and subsequently as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT) in Ulaanbaatar. Since 2024, I have resumed full-time international entrepreneurial activities while continuing to contribute to academia as a visiting lecturer at GMIT and the University of Applied Sciences Georg Agricola (THGA) in Bochum. In late 2024, I was appointed to the University Council of GMIT. My professional background combines strategic decision-making, institutional development, and cross-cultural competence, enabling me to contribute effectively at the interface of industry and academia.
