Seasoned Petroleum Engineering Leader with diversified oil and gas background, career-long P&L responsibilities and a track record of creating value. Deep expertise in asset management, personnel supervision, field operations, and applying best practices to ensure profitable growth. As Production Engineering Manager at Devon Energy, I led a technical team developing optimal solutions for oil & gas well construction & production. Areas of focus included artificial lift, chemicals, completion processes, stimulations, and water management. Guided the creation of KPI metric dashboards which enabled rapid issue recognition through operational data visualization, timely decisions for corrective actions and a reduction of well equipment downtime - resulting in a 2-year profit increase of $27M. Deploying new acceleration strings in 80+ horizontal oil wells below the pump intake increased efficiency, oil production and resulted in $3.9M additional revenue in 2015. In a previous Devon role as Operations Manager, I supervised production & development of Rockies properties (1800 wells & staff of 75). The highly-successful 3-rig horizontal exploration & development program in the Powder River Basin led to the acquisition of additional mineral acres. In part of a core group in a company start-up (Prize Energy). Previously, while at UPRC, executed a profitable 5 rig program drilling 90 Austin Chalk horizontal wells in 3 yrs and achieved $8.1M in savings by designing a new frac tool. As Operations Supt. oversaw Oklahoma assets which included a gas plant & pipeline, evaluated/maintained production & reservoir performance and reduced field ops manpower by 33%($1.4 M/yr savings). Early in career, also gained valuable Production Engineer experience working in the Mid-Continent, Offshore Gulf of Mexico and Gulf Coast. Obtained a BS with distinction in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
