About Thomas Howard

I am a recent graduate of Westfield State University with a Master's Degree in Public Administration, as well as Bachelor's Degrees in History and Political Science with a concentration in International Studies, minoring in Asian Studies from the same institution. At WSU, I completed a MPA program approved Capstone project analyzing administrative barriers towards 100% sustainability while also having received recognition as a Commonwealth Honors Scholar where I defended my thesis; Sufism: A Bridge to Interfaith Dialogue as an undergrad.I consider myself a skilled analytical researcher and organizational leader. I frequently utilize my communicative skills while public speaking, cell phone appointments and various social media sites throughout various work experiences and internships. My time spent as a student consultant for the Town of East Windsor helped prep my skills for collaborating solutions and presenting results for constituents, administrators and elected officials. I have also spent time as an Events Coordinator for Amherst College where my constant communications with students, faculty, and staff made for successful opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and interdepartmental cross-collaboration through Amherst College's Loeb Career Center. As a Research and Policy intern with Commonwealth Corporation, I drafted, edited, and reviewed documentation concerning the grant administering process through the Commonwealth Corporation Foundation.
