About Thomas Hurtaud

Chartered certified accountant with more than 15 years of experience in audit, accounting and finance, me and my team are responsibles for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements of HBX Group under IFRS. As a technical accounting expert, I am providing advice and guidance on technical accounting issues to the Group. I recently built the new Group accounting manual to be followed by all the Finance department. As a recent achievement, I actively participated to the success of the Group IPO (Spanish stock exchanges) by supporting the preparation of the prospectus as well as the whole preparation of the consolidated financial statements. As a new task, being now working for a listed company, I assist executives with preparing financial analysis and commentary for annual report, results announcements and investor presentations. My role involves the coordination of international teams across EMEAI, APAC and AMERICAS, with the main objective of monitoring legal entities’ balance sheet and financial performance included within HBX Group. This position allows me to use and share my experience and my knowledge acquired over the years as a chartered accountant mainly on technical accounting, consolidation, IFRS, equity/investments analysis, tax matters, balance sheet and income statement analysis, review/support on the statutory annual accounts' preparation. Proven expertise in the following fields- Consolidation - IFRS - IPO / listed companies' regulations in the UK and Spain - Valuation methodologies - Project management and coordination across different service lines and departments - French/Spanish/UK/US GAAP.
