With over 25 years of sales and marketing experience in retail, wholesale, inbound, private, government and e-commerce sectors in Australia and Europe, I have seen marketing trends come and go. Brands are constantly evolving to leverage the latest technologies and respond to changes in the marketplace. Particularly over the past years and in my current role as Head of Brand, Sales & Marketing for Student One have I learned that it is not just about making a quick high impact or creating attention-grabbing content alone. More importantly, once you have grabbed your target audience’s attention you must connect with your customers in more meaningful ways, build a reputation as a trusted source of information and continue to nurture those relationships well beyond the actual sale. I am passionate about facilitating growth through marketing and have spearheaded brand Student One throughout its initial launch and growth phase while we opened three residences in just four years, now accommodating well over students from all over the world. I am responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy while providing leadership to the sales & marketing and residential life and activities teams.
