About Thomas Jakobsson

Part of the Eurowings Europe team as an A320/A319 Captain. looking forward to grow with the company and delivering a superb, safe product and service to our customers. Previously worked as a pilot for Cathay Pacific Airways from 2006 and based in Hong Kong from 2009. That gave me the opportunity to acquire vast experience in worldwide operations while contributing to being one of the industry leaders in safe and efficient airline operations. During this time, I had the absolute pleasure of crewing both the passenger and cargo variants of the Boeing 747-400, most recently in the capacity of Senior Captain on the Boeing 747-400ERF and 747-8F. My normal duties consisted of a mixture of medium-haul around Asia, the Middle East, Australia and long-range ops to Europe and North America. As a proud husband, team player and father of two, I am grateful for all the experiences we have had as a family living in Hong Kong. I am fully enjoying the next chapter in our lives back home in Sweden and as an employee with Eurowings Europe. Licences EASA ATPL A320 and B747-400 HK CAD ATPL B747-400 FAA CPL
