Thomas Jamet is a graduate of IEP Paris (Sciences Po), holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and Political Sociology, a Certificate of Higher Education in European Business Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Law. He began his career as a strategic planner at Carat, where he worked on consumer insights and strategy for many brands. In 2004, he co-founded Deepblue, a consulting arm of Dentsu (Carat, Vizeum, Isobar, Posterscope) before joining Publicis Group at the end of 2005 with the creation of ReLoad, the first integrated communication planning agency in France, which he co-founded and co-directed within Publicis Media Groupe. After having managed Strategic Planning, Insights & Research department of Zenith, Optimedia and Starcom and participated in the unprecedented development of Publicis Media in France, Thomas was appointed in 2009 MD of Newcast, Branded Content entity of Publicis Media, working with ZenithOptimedia, Starcom, Digitas, Duke, Razorfish within VivaKi but also creative and production agencies of Publicis group like Publicis Conseil, Le Garage, Prodigious, Publicis Et Nous. Thomas is then appointed CEO of Moxie, a full-service creative agency of Publicis in 2012, where he has been honoured at numerous international awards and festivals. Thomas is appointed CEO of IPG Mediabrands France in February 2015, that has since made a major turnaround, experiencing the strongest growth of the industry (+40% growth rate in 2016,+12% in 2017,+19% in 2018,+28% in 2019,+35% in 2020,+ 41% in 2021 according to RECMA), client success with many wins, but also profitability success. Mediabrands and its agencies, including Initiative and UM were regularly voted “Media Agency of the Year” 3 times in 2017, 2018 and 2019, and went from 69 talents in 2015 to 230 in 2022. Mediabrands and its agencies were awarded 2 times by the "Great Place To Work" Award in France, in 2021 and 2022. At the end of 2017, Thomas founded the French branch of the Branded Content Marketing Association (BCMA) and was elected President of media agencies association UDECAM (Union des Enetreprises de Conseil et Achat Media) in 2022. Thomas is a teacher at Sciences Po Paris since 2012 and is also an essayist, releasing 5 books in 2011, 2014, 2018 and 2022. He was 3 times a judging member at Cannes Lions in 2014 and 2023. Happy daddy of two girls and two boys, Thomas has also been a rock band manager and has worked with indie and major French and international artists. Today he co-manages the pop-rock band « Electric Pyramid » alongside Queen's legendary manager Jim Beach.
