About Thomas Jordan

I am a recent graduate of the University of Idaho with three degrees in International Studies, Spanish, and Modern Language and Business. I most recently held the position of Student Supervisor for two years at the University of Idaho Swim center where I was accountable for the work environment and schedule of 30-45 employees. I regularly instructed classes on Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR to both employees and the public. I have 17 years of Spanish education and recently completed 10 weeks abroad in Bilbao, Spain where I took classes in high level standard Spanish. This experience represents the peak of my passion for languages as I was also able to learn and experience the Basque culture and language. I have an extensive knowledge of both Spanish language and culture that allowed me to create and lead a team building exercise in Spanish for the Central American Youth Ambassadors (CAYA) program in 2017. Aside form Spanish I have experience speaking and translating Portuguese and Italian, and I enjoy learning other languages such as French, German, Arabic and ASL when I get the opportunity. I had the opportunity to practice some of these languages abroad and as a Fulbright Ambassador while chaperoning scholarship recipients.
