About Thomas K. Prindable

Thomas K. Prindable is the managing partner of the Chicago personal injury law firm of Cogan & Power, P.C. In that role he serves that the firm’s primary point of contact with new and prospective clients. He is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the law firm. Prior to joining Cogan & Power in July 2015, Mr. Prindable practiced personal injury law at Clifford Law Offices for 22 years, including about 18 years spent as the firm’s managing partner. He also works with whistleblowers in qui tam litigation, does probate work on behalf of wrongful death clients, and has experience with mass tort and class action litigation. A lifelong champion of those in need, Mr. Prindable attended seminary, earning degrees in theology and philosophy, before turning to legal advocacy. A 1973 graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law, Mr. Prindable also has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy degree and a Bachelor of Theology degree from St. Mary of the Lake, Loyola University. Several Chicago-area and Illinois organizations have recognized Mr. Prindable for his pro bono work with guardians ad litem. A frequent speaker at seminars and continuing legal education events, Mr. Prindable is a member of several professional associations, including the Chicago Bar Association (CBA), Kane County Bar Association, American Bar Association (ABA) and its Section of Litigation and Law Practice Management, the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). A 1973 graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law, Mr. Prindable also has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy degree and a Bachelor of Theology degree from St. Mary of the Lake, Loyola University. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
