I am a commercial lines property & casualty underwriting and marketing professional with experience in underwriting Property, Inland Marine, General Liability, Automobile, Workers Compensation and Umbrella / Excess lines. I have written various types of businesses, such as but not limited to, manufactures, distributors, contractors, real estate, hotels, truckers and services. I have an excellent working relationship, due to monthly visitations, with numerous retail agents and wholesale brokers in various cities throughout the Midwest, and the Northeast. I have strong communication and influencing skills to build creditability with producers and clients. My entire career I have worked for major insurance companies and have an earned reputation for meeting or exceeding set goals, detail file documentation, prioritizing work, and maintaining customer satisfaction. I served as a mentor providing training, coaching, and technical support to college recruits and less experience underwriters. I have contributed to the development of the appetite of business and the underwriting guidelines for the Upper Middle Market Department. I volunteered to handle accounts in other territories during company restructuring. I developed agencies with zero premium to over in premium. I transformed high loss ratio agencies to profitable agencies while developing premium growth.
