About Thomas Keating

34 years of Lumber Trading /Sales/ Business Creation. Created an Eastern Products Division in New England for Cushman Lumber Inc. With previous companies, I created sales territories in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic States. On the purchasing side of lumber, I was able to develop relationships with quality lumber production with New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Price Edward Island provinces of Canada. My ability to speak French helped to secure quality production in Quebec and Ontario. With International travel to these provinces it secured production programs for our retail Lumber customers for quality product. Speculation with long positions as the market moved up and shorting when necessary is part of the daily purchasing and sales activity. When the recession of 2008-2009 arrived I created Guiding Hand Real Estate Services Inc. to help with the enormous cash flow problem many in our building products industry were experiencing. This allowed me to survive in this industry and increase my personal Real Estate portfolio. As a student and travelling internationally to France, Belgium, Italy, and Greece I quickly learned the importance of speaking a Foreign language and the joy of being able to communicate with friends from other parts of the world.
