Tom Kinton is an international aviation consultant with extensive experience including a 35-year career with the Massachusetts Port Authority where he served in various positions including CEO. He is considered a leader and expert throughout the aviation industry. Tom serves as an senior advisor to global companies that deal with all aspects of the aviation industry. He is on the Board of Directors at Cape Air. He has extensive experience in media relations and served as an expert witness in aviation litigation cases. He advised LAX regarding the active shooter incident of 11/1/13 and SFO regarding the crash of Asiana Flight 214 in July 2014. He presents at conferences on various topics. Tom directed the $4.4 billion redevelopment and rebuilding of Massport's airside and landside facilities. He was responsible for the operation of Logan International Airport, Bedford's Hanscom Field, Worcester Regional Airport, the Tobin Bridge Toll Complex, public cruise, cargo and container terminals of the Port of Boston and development of Massport-owned property. Tom launched the Family Assistance Program for Aviation Disasters that played a key role after 9/11. He was instrumental in Logan's Behavior Pattern Recognition Program and earned the award for "Exceptional Performance in Airport Security."
