About Thomas Knittl

For about ten years I have dwelled in the world of pixels, developing new ideas and creating user journeys, emphasizing usability and expediting prototypes – always prepared to start from scratch because I had my eyes firmly on the goal: to create a new, authentic interface that meets the highest standards of design and intuitive handling. Prior to becoming an Advanced Graphical Interface Designer for Audi AG I was able to gain experience in a variety of fields: I managed corporate identity and graphic design projects, designed websites, apps and software all the while enhancing my know how that is essential when taking charge of overall concepts for advanced automotive interfaces. My current field of responsibilities mainly focuses on the development and design of new UI/UX concepts for Audis future concept cars. In order to achieve the best possible user experience, I take the creative lead encouraging a multidisciplinary approach and working closely with other (interior) departments to find the most suitable and innovative design for our user interfaces. In the last four and a half years I have managed and successfully completed various series development projects as well as the interfaces for different show cars as Creative Lead UI.
