About Thomas Kohlwey

I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2023 with a degree in International Business and a field of study in Russian Language and Literature. While studying, I also worked as a commission sales associate and bike technician at Sun & Ski Sports for two years. Since 2016, I have been the owner of Kohlwey's Landscaping, a competitive lawn care and landscaping business that provides affordable, high-quality service for residential customers. My core competencies include communication, problem solving, and strategy. As the owner of Kohlwey's Landscaping, I developed, launched, and grew the business through exceptional referral network of existing clients. I coordinated operational logistics of scheduling, maintenance, installations, and other services, ensuring proper staffing to complete all projects in a timely manner. I consulted with new clients to identify their needs, negotiate pricing, and establish a service contract. I also managed financial records and accounts, vendor relations, and landscaping design and installation. I am passionate about delivering customer satisfaction and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a background in international business and Russian language and literature. I am eager to learn from and collaborate with other professionals in the industry.
