About Thomas Kotsos

Tom is an accomplished expert with 25 years of experience in developing Big Data and Data Science applications in healthcare. He leads a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists and Advanced Analytics Analysts who are part of the Enterprise Science team at Anthem Digital. Tom developed his unique skill-set reporting to and mentoring with visionary leaders in clinical medicine, biomedical engineering, Provider and Payer Analytics, and more recently Data Science. Prior to joining Anthem, Tom was an analyst working on major healthcare initiatives including the AMA - Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement (PCPI) and the Doctor’s Office Quality Information Technology (DOQ-IT) initiative. He shaped Population Health industry outcomes with other industry leaders developing a Wellness evaluation approach for The Care Continuum Alliance. Tom has co-authored 4 peer reviewed articles, numerous White Papers in healthcare analytics and presented research at over 15 conferences.
