About Thomas Krapp

I’m a 3L law student—graduating in December 2025 and sitting for the bar in February 2026—with a strong interest in corporate transactional practice, particularly mergers & acquisitions, banking and finance, or real estate. My path to the law has been anything but traditional, and I’ve had to build my own foundation every step of the way. That foundation began at K&L Gates, where I worked for two years before law school and discovered how much I thrive in a collaborative, high-performing environment. That experience set me on the path to becoming a lawyer. Since then, I’ve carried that drive into law school, serving as a Judicial Intern at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, advising entrepreneurs in a Small Business & Entrepreneurship Clinic, and working as Business Editor of the Elon Law Review. Each role has strengthened my skills in research, writing, client service, and strategic thinking—and reinforced my passion for transactional work at the intersection of law and business. I am eager to begin my career in a dynamic corporate practice, where I can continue learning from talented colleagues while contributing my persistence, adaptability, and commitment to client success.
