About Thomas Kreiter

The changing world of work is turning many things upside down. What we need are more smart strategies for a modern, future-orientated working environment. With the introduction of new technologies, an evolving organizational culture and a multitude or generations at one workplace - from baby boomers to Gen Z and soon Gen Alpha - companies are faced with the challenge to create an environment that is attractive to all generations. As Head of Human Resources at ÖBB's largest subgroup, I am driving these changes proactively and with great passion. Together with my dedicated team, I have been responsible for the HR strategy and its implementation for the approximately employees of ÖBB-Infrastructure and personnel expenses of around 1.5 billion euros since 2022. My mission? To get the right players for ÖBB-Infrastructure on board and to keep them on board - To create the mobility turnaround for Austria. By shaping a corporate culture that offers scope for creativity, diversity and development, we are contributing to the success of ÖBB- Infrastructure. Together with 200 fantastic employees in INFRA-HR, their strengths and their expertise, we are making it happen. Because: Teamwork makes the Dream Work!
